Unit 6

I discovered while doing this exercise, that I always thought about myself. By doing this exercise, I really started to open my eyes and started thinking about everyone else. The thought that they are people out there suffering, unhappy, and or with poor health can really get you thinking. Especially when your relaxing and repeating those four sentences over and over again. This really expands your mind and heart to really feel for others. With the assessment, what hit me the hardest was the fifth principle, "Integral assessment relies on deep listening and guidance." I'm able to listen to others while being free of bias of random feelings, thoughts, and images, but when I try to help myself the same way, I can't. I believe if I keep up with these exercises and assessments, it would help me foster a greater wellness in this area.
